The Albuquerque Gas Ballooning Association is an association of gas balloon pilots, crew members and other interested persons that support gas ballooning world wide. The association supports the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta America's Challenge Gas Balloon Race that is held yearly in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Coupe Aèronautique Gordon Bennett has been hosted twice in recent years by AIBF and the history of this event is of interest to gas ballooning enthusiasts.
